Short synopsis
Boris Delchev, a Bulgarian Artist-decorator and his team work for some of the wealthiest people in the world. And yet, the global crisis, corruption in their country and the lack of skilled people are daily endangering the fragile survival of this little “family” business.
From their abandoned factory in the heart of Sofia, Boris and his team meticulously create awe-inspiring works of art. They reconstruct the walls of Queen Marie Antoinette’s apartments in Paris, craft medieval ceilings for Europe’s sumptuous castles, restore frescoes in Bosphorus palaces, and redesign 17th-century wallpapers for opulent American billionaire apartments.
Amidst these grand endeavors, Boris and his team harbor a dream: they are building a school in the Bulgarian mountains. This school will be rooted in the artistic rigor and erudition of the great “Florentine workshops from the Renaissance” era. It will serve as a place where they can pass down the secrets of their trade, ensuring their legacy endures.
